Mongolian Pork Recipe

Slice the pork loin into thin strips for quick and even cooking.

Slicing the Pork

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Heat the Oil

Add the minced garlic and ginger to the hot oil. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

 Sauté Garlic and Ginger

Add the sliced pork to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the pork is no longer pink. Remove the pork from the skillet and set it aside.

Add Pork Strips

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, water, and brown sugar. This forms the savory-sweet Mongolian sauce.

Prepare the Sauce

 Pour the Mongolian sauce into the skillet. Add the cooked pork back to the skillet, coating it with the sauce.
