Bring a large skillet to medium heat. Add gnocchi and cook until plump and lightly browned, 5 minutes. Drain excess water.
Add heavy cream, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
Stir in spinach and parmesan. Cook until spinach wilts, 2 more minutes.
Remove from heat. Garnish with more parmesan.
Add chicken, shrimp, or vegetables. Use different cream sauces. Top with herbs.
Cook gnocchi just until plump so they don't get mushy. Use pre-chopped spinach to save time.
